OWEN DESIGNED THIS VERY FETCHING FLYER. WHAT A MODERNIST HERO HE IS!
[click to see details. The kino fist site also has its own autonomous existence]
Inventing the opportunity for those in/around London to see some rarely-screened cinema with a proper projector and everything, kino fist have set up a programme of fornightly-screenings to take place in Hackney. Daniel and Owen choose the films, I hand out the programme notes, everyone is happy (including all legal bodies!!!!!! ahem, ahem, ahem).
The first screening takes place on Sunday the 28th of January at 90 Wallis Road (note changed address!), near Hackney Wick station.
The main feature is a restored version of Leni Riefenstahl's The Triumph of the Will, though there will be some clever contextualising done by virtue of Donald Duck propaganda cartoons, music videos by Herb Ritts, etc.
For your very reasonable £1 entry-fee you'll get at least some extensive programme notes.
