infinite competition! no prizes!
[Adapted from Issue 69 of Le Perroquet, March 23rd, 1987]
Infinite Thought launches a competition: 'Down with Existing Society!'
Each and every one should express in a succinct manner his or her rationally hostile feeling about the current state of affairs.
Those who love and admire the society are not admitted into the competition. Even less those who think that it is a lesser evil that deserves to be protected.
We publish below a response by Renée Leibovici:
The Twelve Crimes of this Country
1. Ignoring the worker: the invisibles.
2. Sacrificing the peasant and annihilating the countryside.
3. Exiling or ignoring the elderly.
4. Ignoring and debasing language.
5. Ignoring love.
6. Sacrificing the country, having no positive idea of it.
7. Not loving truth.
8. Being the enemy of sense, progressively forgetting everything.
9. Multiplying the void everywhere.
10. So that no support can be found except in melancholy.
11. Not to mention art and science.
12. And even children.
