Teacher admits threatening to blow up Bluewater shopping centre.
I wonder if they'll arrest Ballard next.
'But when questioned about his plot, Ghafoor, 33, of Southampton, did not appear to know where the shopping centre was, the Old Bailey heard.'
Ah, but he was right, because Bluewater is everywhere, Bluewater is us. We must blow ourselves up. It's the only solution.
UPDATE: from reader James: 'just read your blog post on the planned Blue Water terrorist attack. I was back at my parent’s house in Kent when the news broke and the region news report included a shopper who when asked about their feelings on the proposed attack had the following gem to say:
'Well, we have to keep shopping now, don't we? Otherwise the terrorists have won!''
