ideology dreams through us
Dreams are always primarily geo-political rather than personal, as Schreber et al teach us, but last night I dreamt televisually of both 'Philosophy Big Brother', where lecturers were trapped in a garish Ikea-ish nightmare and forced to debate topics of Big Brother's choosing, and then I dreamt of 'Religion Swap', like wife swap, where Catholic spouses swapped with Sikh ones, and Jewish ones with Hindu, and so on. I'm pretty sure that some religions don't allow you to merely 'play' at them, but in lots of way this sounds like the sort of thing TV might do. I do a search for 'Religion Swap' when I wake up, and it turns out it is. Shiver.
