A college lecturer faces losing his job for simply recommending the work of artist Del LaGrace Volcano to a photography student.
Simon Burgess of East Surrey College has been threatened with serious disciplinary action and redundancy because his managers have decided the imagery constitutes pornography.
Whilst theology students get to read the Bible and literature students de Sade, photography students are treated like small, fragile animals, to be penned in and sheltered from provocative images.
