I spied a helicopter flying a massive St Whorejizz flag with 'Come on England' over the Westminster Brains Trust Inc sector. The News of the World logo was also visible on said flag but I imagine that was just a coincidence

Feeeling red and cross? *****Soccerball update******

"Is there something sinister in Motson lumping in all African players/teams into one homogenous bloc?..” While we’re all about watching the world’s greatest capitalist spectacle (huge amounts of money invested in an in-turn cash-generative global entertainment franchise that has no intrinsic worth at all), click for Cull’s latest reflections.

We are duty bound to make word on this spectacle of the pre-World Cup English flag epidemic. Of course, our instinctive reaction is utter disgust at the banal frivolity of our English counterparts..... Click for more stupefaction…

I don�t mind flags and that, it's just the attitude of not letting other nationalities have flags on their cars - and the utter disbelief that some people may not give a toss about Wayne Rooney's foot; or football for that matter.

I don't think you can blame the English flag for right-wing overtones, it should be our mission to reclaim it. I think BNP tend to prefer Union Jacks - they've got more colonial history. I would never sing God Save the Queen, being a republican and all that.

I do think it's fashionable in some of the broadsheets to
over-apologise for all things English, and some of the people who write letters in these are the same kind of people who want to live in 'edgy' areas, yet complain about the noise from the local youth club disturbing their latte.

If people want to put flags up, forget ASDA or your local BP � go to the nearest Cancer Research Shop and pick up flags, T-shirts and pin badges.
